This year we loaded up the car and drove up to see charming country mountains, cold weather, and my crazy cousins!
Marmee and Poppy worked their magic whipping up delicious feasts (Mom said the apricot cookies and BBQ ribs were worth the 10 hour trip by themselves).
The girls got busy decorating the cookies while our parents got busy devouring them. It was great to spend time with family while eating ourselves sick every night.
Even Brady seemed to gain a couple of pounds in the few days we were there. He was adorable, cooing, smiling and laughing. There is just something about our sweet baby boys!
Ryan had a blast watching all of the fun. He met his great grandmother,
Mawmaw, for the first time. Amazing to think that she will be 90 years bold at the end of February.
Mom says she can think of 2 other little girls who have
Mawmaw's sassy spirit.
And one hilarious little girl who had the best facial expressions of the week!
We have no idea where she gets it...
It was a busy, hectic, wonderful time with 7 kids in the house. Ryan and I were able to sneak in some private time with our favorite Snowbird, Doe.
And Ryan showed off his new skill of almost sitting up by himself.
He loved hanging out with his Georgia family for his first Christmas!
