Little Teacher

Kindergarten has turned out to be one of my all time favorite things. I love my fun teacher, my friends, and the awesome field trips we get to take. Like the zoo.
The zoo was great! Until they made us stare directly at the sun for a group picture.
We got to illustrate our best experiences in Writers Workshop the next day. I liked feeding the stingrays and seeing the komodo dragon and blue poison frog.
I have fully embraced the academic life, taking my creative process to the coffee shop with Dad on the weekend. He gets the chocolate croissant while I set up our work stations.
I give Dad an assignment, then I deliver a fair and balanced grade.
He thrives under my grading system. It's focused on positive reinforcement, and is remarkably similar to the feedback I get from my teacher.
Mom and Dad say they love watching me grow up, even if it is a little faster than they would like. They are mentally preparing for my future, especially now that I am getting Valentine cards like this. Dark Lords of the Sith are so romantic.
