Maybe it's a second born trait, or maybe it's a Ryan trait, but he is proving to be a natural joker. The stuff that he says keeps us laughing constantly. Like:
- Ryan, why are you acting so crazy? "Because I'm excitement".
- "We had boogers for lunch at school today. Not boogers from your nose. Hamboogers".
- "My body feels like it widdy wants to hit Kels. So maybe I'm not going to go in that room with her".
He seems to have very healthy self esteem:
- "I'm berry handsome, you know".
- "I can do my stretches widdy widdy good".
We started swim lessons this year, and he had no trouble jumping right in with his fearless technique, called the "T-rex Arms". Coach Marissa can't even correct some of his moves because she is laughing so hard at his exuberance.
He's adopted a new smile for pictures now. We can't get him to stop. He loves having his picture taken,
especially when he can pose.
He loves going on special trips with Dad for boy time, like baseball games. This causes a slight panic in Mom, because everyone tells her that he will only want to hang out with Dad when he gets older. She's desperately trying new activities to keep him engaged, like cooking. He likes hanging out in the kitchen with her way more than I do. Probably because she bribes him with chocolate chips.
He's a little boy now. No more baby Ryan.
