Night Night Baby

When it's naptime at school, my teacher pats my bottom and says "night night" until I go to sleep. Mom caught me helping my baby take a nap today...

Happy Halloween!

Kitty cat! Mom and I dressed up as cats and I LOVED the makeup! I kept looking in the mirror and saying "more" for Mom to paint on my whiskers.
Maggie and Moxie were a ladybug and cow- I think they only tolerated the costumes for my benefit.
Dad dressed up as one of 3 possible things: a cowboy, a Longhorn, or Spencer Pratt, depending on your perspective.
We had lots of fun outside with our neighbors, settling in to wait for trick-or-treaters!

The Park

Mom wanted to get a few cute pictures of me sitting in the pumpkin patch, but I had different ideas...
I wanted to play!
Maybe next year I will pose with the pumpkins for Mom.

Climber

This week I decided to pull everything out of my toy shelf and climb inside.
Getting down is not so easy, so Mom and Dad have to supervise. No problem, I could stay in here all day!

Toddler Fun

Mom noticed a theme in the pictures from our recent visit with my cousins... an active, curious, playful, busy toddler theme!
I had an irresistible urge to touch anything I could reach!
I was ridiculously fast on the stairs.
If I couldn't reach something, then I planned a new approach and tried again.
I "helped" around the house for Mawmaw.
And I relaxed for about 30 seconds in my Mom's Mom's baby chair.
I reconnected with my old friend, Sparky.
And made a new friend in Jack (don't tell Dad that I LOVE cats!).I fed the fish with Doe, but she wouldn't let me jump in the pond. Mom said this trip marked an exciting new phase in my development... and an exhausting new phase in her role: chasing me around and saying "No" several times a day!

Cousins

I got to see my cousins last week- they are all so big! Forget about seeing any pictures with all of us sitting still or posing for the camera!
We spent some time in Marmee's Daycare, basically playing side-by-side without acknowledging each other.
Keeley is a sweet 10 month old snuggle monkey.
Joli is an adorable 8 month old smiling machine.
Marmee has more fun than anybody!
She has mastered the art of entertaining and feeding two, plus managing separate nap schedules.
Mom and I weren't able to help very much... but we did dress up and enjoy the company!
I also loved seeing Jakob, the most hilarious daredevil. He made me laugh out loud- and I ran around copying everything he did!
Meanwhile, Colin patiently taught me about power tools. He was very understanding when I destroyed his meticulously arranged toy soldier battlefield. Poppy (aka. The Baby Whisperer) cuddled up with Joli on our last night. One of my favorite toys of the trip was his neck pillow... It was good times!

Row Row Row Your Boat

Here is Dad singing our version: "If you see a crocodile, don't forget to scream".

First Haircut

One word: Lollipop.
Mom discovered the magic of sugar as a bribe!
I was NOT excited about sitting still in a chair while the nice lady used scissors near my face, but the end result was a shaped-up style.
And Mom wants to thank my Uncle Jake and Aunt Jenni for the portable DVD player that saved the day... again!

What up, Yo?

Being cool is all about attitude... and the right props.
My mentor, Elmo, taught me all about hats and glasses.
The attitude comes naturally.
