School's Out For Summer

It's a bittersweet end to 3rd grade and Kindergarten. We grew so much!
Mom went a little crazy during the last week of school. By Wednesday we were both completely fried from the party atmosphere every single day (hot tip- we both prefer calm, structured schedules). So, Mom let us sleep late and she signed us in as Tardy like a boss.
It really stressed us out, because we are never late. She kept saying "Perfect is boring," and "Sometimes you gotta break the rules." She's probably been reading child psychology books again, and this was some hidden lesson.
The whole week was basically one big party!
And the final end of year gift from our parents were Fidget Spinners!
Saying goodbye was hard to our after school crew.
Ryan's class had a pool party at an awesome club, the perfect way to end the year.
Some of us thought it was boring.
Until our favorite friend showed up!
Saying goodbye to his teacher was tough. She's basically an icon at the school, and all the kids adore her!
We met Dad for dinner, and he asked if we were tired. Nope, we're ready for summer!

Morning Show

Ryan's class finally got their chance to host the Morning Show, and it was great! Mom is working on uploading the videos.

Mother's Day

Ryan's awesome energetic teacher threw an adorable Mother's Day tea party. Ryan drew a perfect picture of Mom, with her signature ball cap and moles.
And he wrote this wonderful essay: "My mom is almost the best mom anyone could get. I say she is, its my disishin and I'm proud of it."
Then the class sang a sweet song that left all the moms crying!
Mom loves productions like this, but it's the day-to-day normal stuff that she likes the most. Like, this spontaneous Lego settlement.
And the art work from school entitled "Me In Jail".
And pretty much every night checking on us after we fall asleep.
She is witness to the sibling love that flows between us.
And sharing her favorite recipes with her favorite girl.
When Mom is in the kitchen, she likes to be called Christ-Ina.

Happy 9th Birthday Kelsey!

Almost a decade old! Look at this sweet face.
The big event was getting my ears pierced. It didn't even hurt!
I picked emeralds, since they are my birthstone.
We had lunch at my favorite restaurant, J. Alexanders, because that's where the World's Best Spinach Queso lives. Then Dad took Ryan to a baseball game so that Mom and I could do my ears and go shopping. Awesome day!
