Thanksgiving Week

Thanksgiving Pow Wow!
Ryan's Kindergarten teacher organized a potluck dinner in the cafeteria for the class, and the kids performed their adorable songs.
She is a brave woman, she even lets the kids make the pumpkin pies in her classroom before dinner.
The kids love it! Especially when she used the pies to play Pie In The Face Game with the parents!
November is also host to the Great American Teach In, where your mom can wear a doctor's coat and pretend to bring real shots for your class. That joke works better for third graders (the Kindergarteners started crying).
Science projects wrapped up, lima seeds grew.
And friends visited us in our new guest room!
We learned that the pool heater works really well.
The best part of the week was the night with our cousins!
Mom usually works Thanksgiving week and weekend, so Dad uses the time for adventures and exploration, like gator hunts.

Weeki Watchi

Happy Fall! This is a favorite spot for manatees and mermaids.
Here is one gentle giant, the gray blob in the top half of the picture:
Here is Mom's shadow trying desperately to get a picture with her iphone. That tiny sliver of gray at the top was the giant mama manatee.
It was a fun day, and MUCH more work than Mom and Dad anticipated on the kayaks.

Halloween 2016

Happy Halloween! So great to be back in our old neighborhood!
Hermione and Stormtroopers rule.
Class parties and parades were fun.
We carved pumpkins in the shade, since it was NINETY DEGREES.
Trick or treating in our tiny corner has been epic the last few years!
We love being back with our old favorite neighbors.
And surprise sitings of our old favorite teachers!

Tae Kwon Do

We started martial arts this fall, and it's been an awesome experience.
We are learning the five tenets of Tae Kwon Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, Indomitable Spirit. And also, Dad wants me to learn to punch bad guys in the face.

Mom likes the part where we learn self-control.
It's not easy for everybody.
Dad said Ryan looks straight out of Cobra Kai Dojo, and Mom laughed really hard. But we have no idea what that means.
