Happy Mother's Day

Best day, ever. Mom said all she wanted was to sleep past 7am, and brunch at J.Alexanders because it reminds her of Grady's, where she was a server, nay waitress, in college. She already has three perfect gifts (that's us and Dad, not a third baby on the way).

Symphony Under The Stars

Time for our favorite party under the stars! This year we invited Mom's friend from work and her son, my favorite little Gap model.
We lucked out with our seats, getting to hang out with all the kids from our block.
It was a fun night, but we don't have party stamina like our fun neighbors. We left at dark, feeling like we were dying after being up past 9:00!

First Grade Field Trip

Our spring field trip was to the Aquarium. I had a blast, except when Mom made me pose with the mermaid.
The end of first grade is coming up too soon. I'm going to miss my adorable teacher!

Blueberry Picking

We just discovered our new favorite weekend adventure- blueberry picking! There are lots of farms nearby full of blueberries, strawberries, and peaches. You just grab a bucket and find as many ripe fruits as you can carry.
It's fun- the farm sets up a carnival atmosphere full of funnel cakes, snow cones, and people watching.
We loved it. Then we went home and made blueberry pie, blueberry ice cream, blueberry smoothie, and blueberry ooey gooey bars. Yum.

Snaggle Out

FINALLY. After a long day of shocking my parents, teachers, friends, and strangers with my grotesquely dangling snaggle, we got it out! Dad was out of town for work, so we texted him a series of shiver-inducing graphic and bloody gums.
Because he hates it.
And, finally, we got to Mom's favorite face!
