Summer Ice Skating

When you live in Florida, the best cure for hot Saturday mornings is heading to the ice rink.

VPK Graduation

VPK will forever be a favorite memory- it was such a great year with awesome teachers. It was the year this little boy became a little man.
The VPK graduation ceremony was masterfully designed to keep the moms crying.
The ceremony was held at our future high school. Unless Dad moves us all to Boston in 8 years so that Ryan can attend his alma mater.
The kids sang One Small Voice, complete with sign language.
Ryan got to recite their VPK pledge, which he confidently screamed to the audience. He said he memorized it because he wants to be a rock star when he grows up.
They got to walk across the stage to receive their diplomas.
It was a proud moment for these friends!
These kids had the best teachers in the world. This was also my VPK teacher, she taught us both to read, and gave us a love for Dr. Seuss and chapter books.
These two were full of hugs, laughter, and patience for excited hyper boys.
As good as Ryan's year was, it can't match my year in Second Grade. We will probably look back on this amazing woman as the reason I decided to become a teacher.
Mom and Dad will probably look back on this year as the reason they decided to put me in an all girls middle school.
Another year of Mom's favorite freckle face and giant teeth. She keeps telling me how much she loves my age and this face.
