My babies are growing up so fast! Now they look like real birds, with wings and feathers. The Mama bird is constantly bringing them worms and grubs (Mom says it's the bird version of chicken nuggets). There is one that we call The Kraken. He stares at us while the other 2 hide down in the nest.
Today he tried to intimidate me by lunging and flapping... 
He obviously doesn't know who he's dealing with.
My cousins, Jakob and Joli, came to visit this weekend. To say it was an awesome time would be the understatement of the year! Joli and I are a perfect match- we both like to hit each other, fight over toys, and ignore our parents' repeated attempts at discipline. 
I couldn't wait to show them my Big Girl Pants...
and my baby birds.
I was thrilled to see Jakob again, but sad when we found out he was sick with a fever. We gave him lots of TLC, Motrin, and personal space. 
Maggie and Moxie were happy to have a couple of new playmates.
And our parents had just as much fun hanging out as we did! 
We drove to our favorite beach...
and spent the morning having fun in the sun. 
Sweet Jakob was such a trooper- he rallied all day to play with us, even though he felt yucky.
The perfect ending to a perfect day!
I am going to miss them so much!
The eggs hatched! And now we have 3 tiny baby birds to watch!
We go see them lots of times every day (mainly to tell the cat who sleeps on our porch not to eat them). Mom thinks they are so cute, but they look pretty weird to me.
Mom's first thought was "Wow, Kelsey is playing so well by herself this morning."... Her second thought was "Why is she being so quiet?".
I found Mom's makeup bag on the kitchen counter. My parents are always very careful to push knives and dangerous things out of my reach, but now they keep EVERYTHING waaaaaaay back!
This weekend my friend, Isabel, and I took our parents out on a boat. It was a perfect day!
We found a great little beach, threw out the anchor, and spent the morning playing in the sun. Mom and Dad told me that I had been to this beach before, when I was 32 weeks old in Mom's belly (they spent their Babymoon here). 
We went swimming,
ran and splashed through the waves, 
and diligently filled up our bucket with sand.
My favorite part was chasing the pelicans and seagulls down the beach.
We had the most fun playing with our Dads' empty beer bottles. The Moms were laughing and asking each other if this officially makes them white trash pediatricians.
The day ended too soon- nobody wanted to leave this perfect spot!
Mom's favorite part was the ride back to the marina- she got to cuddle me for a nap, just like when I was a baby. 
A Mama Robin made a nest in the big palm tree right outside my window. Every day we go out on the front porch to check on them. We are hoping to have 3 baby birds living in our tree soon!

It was a rainy holiday, but we made the best of it while Mom was at work... with the help of Dora, Boots, and Swiper.
