Nana and Papa at the Fall Shows

The best part of parents leaving town is having Nana and Papa come stay with us!
The timing was perfect, because they got to come to our Fall Drama shows.
Second grade did Stone Soup, and Ryan was our favorite lumberjack.
We love seeing these kids on stage.
Fifth grade girls did songs from The Greatest Showman, which has basically been the soundtrack to our lives 2018.
My class did A Million Dreams in our pajamas.
We love these people!

Happy 13th Anniversary

Mom tagged along with Dad to his business conference on Kiawah Island, and they called it an anniversary trip.
It was pretty awesome for them to get back to the Charleston area, and drown in the same she-crab soup and shrimp and grits from their wedding weekend in 2005.
Mom was writing affectionate things in her anniversary card, when Ryan offered his best idea for a romantic sentiment: "I love you and I'll never forget you".
It was beautiful.
And Dad gave a few nice speeches in his debut year as Head Director Boss Person.

Happy Halloween!

This year we were vocabulary words "Presto" Harry Potter and "Guise" Princess.
Mom dressed up as herself.

Tooth Fairy

Mom's favorite smile!
This is one of our all time favorite pictures, it includes the best toothless face, freckles, and nipples that could cut glass.

Happy B'day and Go Sox!

The 40s are working out pretty well for Dad so far! He flew up to Boston to go to Game 2 of the World Series with Papa.
The universe was smiling on them and the Red Sox.
The last time they got to do this was 2004, with Papa listening to the Patriots game via headphones the whole time.

First Day of School

Fifth grade and Second grade!
It was a very short summer, and we're back to business, but very excited! Back to friends, back to structure,
and back to morning jogs to get the wiggles out before school!
We forgot the part about getting shots.

Tay Tay

Are you ready for it? OMG. My first concert, Mom's first stadium concert.
It was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.
She sang all of my favorite songs.
The best was "Delicate", because she came out to the stage closest to us.
It was so fun,
I didn't even mind being out until midnight on the night before my first day of middle school!
