Mom has enjoyed all of our friends' posts of pictures of the beautiful fall colors in their areas... so she decided to post some images of "autumn" here.
Notice the subtle change in shade of green on the palm fronds as the weather cools into the 70s here. Sorry to our friend in Cincinnati who is anticipating an almanac-predicted "catastrophic" winter this year.
Today Moxie and I helped Mom plant some flowers in planters on the back deck. She says the back yard is going to be hopelessly ugly since it is a playground for our dogs. They like to chase the squirrels and lizards, not letting any bush or tree get in the way of their 80 pound bulky bodies.
I was a good helper, chewing diligently on my toys the whole time.
