AMI 2015

Our annual week in Anna Maria Island was perfect. Especially since it was an escape from the Hundred Year Flood happening the day we drove down.
While neighbors floated kayaks and toy boats down the river on our street, we got to relax with our wicked awesome Boston family.
And this year, Maggie got to join us! She was having major problems with thunderstorms, so Mom begged the rental company to let us bring her instead of leaving her home with a dogsitter. We're so glad they said yes.
The first couple of days were forced relaxation as the storms moved through.
We had no complaints!
All you need is a box full of MagnaTiles, Legos, and the best aunt and cousin on the planet for a great day.
Plus, a super exciting trip to Publix to stock the rental kitchen is always a highlight.
Having a pool right outside the back door was kind of awesome.
I hope Mom and Dad were inspired to put one of these at our house ASAP.
Even Maggie loved it. Mom "helped" her swim a little. She hated that. But she loved hanging out on the sun deck.
And then sleeping 20 hours a day,
or soaking up all the love from her family.
She stayed on her big bed, enjoying the show.
It was her first time to experience the Family Cookout with Nana's famous Delicately Scored Hot Dogs.
We wanted to move here permanently.
