The Grand Canyon really is as beautiful as everyone says!
We did an easy visit, only hiking along the south rim. We didn't take the trail down into the canyon with the donkeys, but it looked beautiful.
The local elk didn't seem to mind the gazillion visitors in their park.
We spent one night there in a lodge, and got up early in the morning to explore.
We did ALOT of walking. Walking, walking, walking.
And ALOT of picture taking.
You wouldn't believe some of the crazy people walking out to dangerous spots to get a picture or selfie.
We preferred the safe spots, far away from the edge.
We also did the Junior Ranger program, where we learned about the rocks and history of the Grand Canyon.
We learned about safety, and how to Don't Be Like Victor.
