Today I learned that the secret to happiness is sharing cupcakes with good friends. Throw in a few pizzas, balloons, and gorgeous weather, and you've got the recipe for a rocking 3 year old birthday party!
Don't let the tutu fool you, I can still hang with the crazy boys on the playground!
We spent the first hour doing hilarious group slide runs,
and chasing each other around the playground to see who could climb the fastest to the top.
Then it was time to sing "Happy Birthday Kelsey" and pass out the cupcakes. That was my favorite part!
Because it was my special day, my parents let me use my hand as a shovel to scoop up the leftover icing on the tray. Yum! Afterwards, Dad laughed at all the cupcakes that had been left intact, but licked clean of icing.
The best was at the end, when we all stripped out of our pizza-sauce-and-pink-icing-covered clothes to run wild in the sprinklers. Life just doesn't get any better than this!
